Introducing Haitang Eastern Therapies at Yihan Spa

Yihan Spa is proud to introduce Haitang Eastern Therapies, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) center that upholds the same high standards of care and wellness our customers trust.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been used for thousands of years to promote health, prevent illness, and support recovery by restoring balance to the body and mind. Rooted in the concept of Qi—the body’s vital energy—TCM works through therapies like Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Tui-Na Massage, and Haitang Herbal Remedies to address the root causes of discomfort and disease.

Haitang Eastern Therapies offers a holistic approach that complements Western medicine. It supports overall well-being and empowers the body’s natural ability to heal. Whether you seek relief, rejuvenation, or preventative care, our integrative treatments align with Yihan Spa’s commitment to excellence in wellness.

Many people prefer to keep their panties or briefs on during a massage, while others prefer to be completely nude. It’s up to you. If your problem areas are your lower back, hips, buttocks, or groin, tight-fitting underwear can sometimes get in the way of massage work, but a thong for women or briefs for men should do the trick. If you do remove your underwear, licensed massage therapists must ensure you are always properly covered by a sheet or towel. Only the area being massaged will be uncovered.

The massage therapist will leave the room so that you can remove your clothing and lie on the massage table (usually face down) under the top sheet. Don’t rush or worry that the massage therapist will walk in on you—the massage therapist always knocks and asks if you are ready before entering the massage room.

Communicate openly with the massage therapist. Keep in mind, however, that it’s a myth that massage therapy has to hurt to be effective.

When you schedule your appointment, let the receptionist know your gender preference. If you do not tell us your gender preference when you schedule your appointment, one will be assigned based on availability or expertise.
